We loved the stay and the Vaka cruise was a definate highlight! We both really appreciated the extra efforts of the aitutaki.net staff in re-booking our flight and cruise after our accomodation forgot to book us the previous day. That is also our recommendation - when there is a package with flights, accomodation and an activity - that autitaki.net are the preferred booking agents - just to clear up some of the confusion (despite us asking about the cruise everytime we spoke to our hosts).
We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent on Aitutaki and Raratonga. It definitely is a destination we will visit again in the future. All of our bookings were managed in a professional and helpful manner. The questions we asked were answered promptly and accurately. Thankyou for all your assistance and we definitely will promote your services to friends and family. Hallo Katja, bin gerade zurück von Aitutaki gekommen... Du hattest Recht mit dem Gepäck, alles war gut... Die Damen von Air Rarotonga waren ausnahmslos alle sehr freundlich... Obwohl ich sicher zuviel Gepäck dabei hatte, hat das niemanden gestört und alle waren entspannt... Queenie oder Tutau ist eine ganz liebreizende #Old-Lady#, Gina's Garden Lodge ein schöner, sauberer Platz...Sehr zu empfehlen... Die Lagune habe ich im Thunderstorm mit starkem Regen erleben dürfen... Auch eine spannende Erfahrung...Dafür hat der gestrige Tag mit Sonnenschein und phantastischen Ausblicken vom Lookout belohnt... Tipp für Cook-Islands und den Tourismus: Bleibt weiterhin so freundlich, offen, fair im Preis: guter Value for Money... Das spüren die Besucher und kommen dann auch wieder...!!!
Awesome trip, Aitutaki is like nothing we have ever seen before. It is quite simply stunning and the lagoon cruise only highlighted the simplicity and natural beauty of the islands. Highly recommended to anyone considering the day trip from Rarotonga or to stay a few precious and memorable days. Jules
