Although there is no swimming beach at this property, guest staying here have access to one of the best swimming and snorkeling areas in Aitutaki – the white sand bars and beaches of Maina Island – no more than 5 minutes by boat.
Maina sunset arranges daily snorkeling and lagoon cruises for its guests. Maina Island is surely a great escape even from mainland Aitutaki.
Fresh water swimming pool is welcome relief on those warm Aituaki evenings. There is an informal restaurant on site serving Tropical Island Breakfast daily as well as dinners on request. The on site shop also provides beverages.

Titi ai Tonga - Vaka Lagoon Cruise
The ‘must do’ day lagoon cruise aboard the 21 meter Polynesian style Vaka Titi ai Tonga.
Every morning at 10am Mondays to Saturdays, the sound of the conch shell signals the departure of the Vaka for six hours of lagoon magic.
There’s snorkeling, swimming and sunbathing to do before tucking into to an Island Barbecued lunch of fresh caught ocean fish served on board and accompanied by a full bar service.
Visit several motu (small islets) and beach comb at One Foot Island before returning past the old TEAL flying boat base. Impromptu entertainment by the crew will have you tying pareu, weaving sunhats or humming island tunes.

The bungalows offer similar style and design. Each bungalow is self catering with spacious open planned living area comprising of a main room with queen size bed and lounge setee with high ceilings with ceiling fan. All bungalows have an open plan kitchen featuring electric cooktop, refridgerator, microvave oven, tea and coffee making facilies and kitchen utencils.
All units have private bathroom with hot-water shower, vanity unit and toilet.
Available for this package are partial lagoon view garden bungalows which are set in a semi-circle enabling each to have a partial view of the lagoon and each unit have its own private thatched wooden veranda.
